Changes in versioning model    We have combined all versions of Books Online for MySQL into single actual version applicable to older and latest releases of MySQL Server.    Why? As you know, Books Online for MySQL based on the MySQL Reference Manual, original documentation for MySQL Server. MySQL Reference Manual documents MySQL features up to the latest version of MySQL and contains full information about older, production releases, and beta versions of the MySQL Database System. So we decided to distribute the latest version of MySQL documentation based on a date of release (not a version number). New languages support    Since this version, Books Online for MySQL will be available in German, French, Portuguese, and Russian languages.
